Accolades: 95/100 – Bob Campbell MW. “Made from 70% 2018 syrah and 30% unoaked 2019 cabernets, petit verdot and tannat Elegant, supple red with floral, violet, blueberry, blackberry, fresh herbs and subtle spicy flavours. A silken-textured wine with an impressively lengthy finish.” – Bob Campbell MW.
4.5 Stars - Michael Cooper. The non-vintage wine (4.5*) currently on sale is a single-vineyard, hand-harvested red, based principally (70 per cent) on 2018 Syrah, aged for two years in French oak barriques, blended with unoaked 2019 "Cabernets/Petit Verdot/Tannat." Already drinking well, it is mouthfilling and harmonious, with concentrated, ripe, spicy, plummy flavours, savoury and supple, and a strong sense of youthful drive. Very ageworthy.
94/100 - Cameron Douglas MS. Aromas and flavours of dark berries, rocks, chocolate, toasty oak, a hint of mint, black currant and sweet purple olive. As the wine opens up the aromas lexicon increase. Textures from both fruit and wood tannins, medium+ acidity and flavours of berries, wood, spics and and non-fruit flavours from rocks to spices seep through the palate. Balanced, youthful, well made and drinkable upon purchase and through 2028+.
